Construction schedule management is a logic-oriented domain uniquely suited for AI application. While the Critical Path Method (CPM) has evolved from ADM to PDM, current methodologies—including PDM—exhibit limitations that hinder seamless AI integration. To address these gaps, the author introduced the Beeline Diagramming Method (BDM) in 2010.

This text classifies BDM as an Advanced Scheduling Technique, contrasting it with conventional methods like ADM, PDM, and PERT. The book details the transition to BDM, offering a deep dive into its theoretical framework and practical application in the construction industry. Although scheduling techniques will continue to evolve, BDM currently represents the most robust and rational framework for developing AI-based scheduling systems.
