CMAK held a "Joint Meeting of the Korea CM Innovation Forum Working Group and the 30-Year History of CM Compilation Committee (2nd Session)" at the association's conference room from 4:00 PM on Monday, July 20.

The meeting brought together secretaries of the Korea CM Innovation Forum Working Group and members of the "30-Year History of CM" Compilation Committee, who shared updates on the association's major initiatives and current issues facing the CM industry, and exchanged a range of views on future directions.

Key agenda items discussed at the meeting included: ▲ operational plans for the corporate promotion session at the 2026 11th National University Students' CM/Construction Competition; ▲ plans to establish the (tentatively named) K-CM Global Academy education program; ▲ plans to commission expert contributions aimed at advancing the CM system; and ▲ the progress and editorial direction of the "30-Year History of CM" compilation.

In particular, regarding the compilation of the "30-Year History of CM," participants engaged in in-depth discussion of the editorial direction and key content—based on the proposed title and draft table of contents submitted by the commissioned agency, Dae Han Kyung Jae (Save the Earth's People)—with the aim of faithfully documenting the development of the CM system and industry over the past 30 years.

Participants agreed that the "30-Year History of CM" should go beyond a simple compilation of history or achievements, and should serve as a meaningful record that comprehensively captures the development of Korea's CM system, industry changes, major policies and projects, and on-site experience, while also presenting a vision for the future direction of the CM industry.

CMAK plans to actively incorporate the various expert opinions presented at this meeting into the association's future key initiatives and the compilation process for the "30-Year History of CM."
